Once only viewed as a summer vacation spot with some homes that still remain with the original families who built them in the 30′s, Inverness is gradually building a year round population. The multitude of outdoor recreational activities include kayaking in Tomales Bay, hiking, of course mountain biking, bird watching or watching seals, or the occasional migrating whales makes Inverness a sought after and unique place to live not only a popular spot for visitors but for year round residents as well.
